What we believe at Centerpoint Community Church

Our Beliefs

We believe the Church is not a building, but the people of God on a mission together. We desire to be a part of a community of people who will place a major emphasis on equipping and training people for ministry.

Vision Statement

Our vision is to be a strategic training center for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will accomplish this task by making disciples who have a heart for God, are committed to family and the church, and who care deeply for people in their community.

our purpose

The purpose of our church is to be a Biblical community experiencing and expressing the love of God. The Great Commandment and the Great Commission found in the Holy Bible are the foundation of all we are and do.

the great commandment

“And he said to him, ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself. On these two commandments depend all the Law and Prophets.'”

– Matthew 22:37-40

the great commission

“And Jesus came and said to them, ‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'”

– Matthew 28:18-20
