Miracle Boxing Street Ministry is a boxing ministry, where people of all ages from all parts of the world can come as they are and be transformed. Under the oversight of Coach Max Avila, we not only teach boxing, but we also share our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The ministry is designed to love people where they are at with the love of Jesus and allow the Holy Spirit to change their hearts and minds over time.

The ministry has been around since 2005 and had its beginnings in the heart of Far Rockaway, NY. In May of 2010, the Lord led Coach Max to Clinton, Maine where he continued to run MBS in the community until finally landing at Calvary Temple in Waterville, Maine in Oct of 2010. Since 2010, Miracle Boxing Street has been part of Calvary Temple Church which is now called Centerpoint Community Church.

Our mission is simple: To teach the love of God; through His Word and by living it out in our day-to-day life. We show people how to have a relationship with God rather than teaching them about a religion. We execute this by building relationships with our members through boxing which teaches discipline and character, and helps build self-worth. These are the same characteristics that are needed in our journey of faith and walk with Christ.
